Volunteer interpreters (English) wanted for Wellington, New Zealand Project

This autumn, from Friday 19 September to Friday 3 October, junior high school students from Wellington, New Zealand, are scheduled to stay with host families in the ward, experience the ward junior high schools (Daigo Junior High school,Midorino Junior High School, Minami Nakano Junior High School, Nakano Junior High School,Nakano Higashi Junior High School and Meiwa Junior High School) and tour facilities in the Tokyo area.

We are looking for volunteer interpreters who can help with these activities.

Volunteer interpreters are needed to assist with the students in special lessons such as learning Koto, tea ceremony and flower arrangement so on.

Date and time: Friday 19 September to Friday 3 October at convenient times on weekdays (generally from 8:30~17:30).

Interpretation for special classes, etc. at the time of trial enrolment

from Monday 22 Sep to Friday 26 Sep : 1-2 hours per session at each school.

Tuesday 30 September – Friday 3 October: Interpretation for tours of facilities in the Tokyo area, generally 8:30-17:30.

Participation is possible on more than one day or on one day only.
