Relief Loans Available. Help For Those Impacted By The Coronavirus
If you are having a difficult time financially due to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), such as unemployment and lack of funds, there is money available for borrowing.
The loans:
1) Mainly for households that are facing temporary stoppage or reduction of work (emergency small fund)
Up to 200,000 yen may be borrowed
0% interest charged; guarantor not required
Repayment: 365 days (one year) after one year has elapsed
2) Mainly for households who have become unemployed or decreased in income (general support funds)
Single-person households may borrow up to 150,000 yen month.
Two -person households may borrow up to 200,000 yen month
Each household may borrow up to three times
0% interest charged; guarantor not required).
Repayment occurs over nine-year period, after one year elapsed.
